GranularPlans and pricing
Granular pricing: free to use with your own AI, Pro from $12.99 a month (or $259 for Lifetime) to lift limits, and an optional AI Add-on from $20 a month.

Granular has two separate things you can pay for:
- The Pro plan lifts the limits in the app. Choose Monthly, Annual or Lifetime.
- The AI Add-on (Granular Hosted) supplies AI models so you don't need your own AI subscription. It comes in three tiers: Base, Plus and Max. You can top it up with credit packs.
You can have either, both or neither. Everything lives in Settings → Billing & plan.

Free
Granular is free to download and use with your own AI sign-in. The Free plan includes:
- 2 projects, with up to 4 sessions in each
- One agent team: a boss plus two workers
- Up to 3 published links
- 1 live link at a time
New users with no AI subscription can also start with free AI credits during setup, no card needed. You'll need a free Granular account to claim them.
The Pro plan
Pro removes the Free limits: unlimited projects, sessions and agents, unlimited published links, and many more live links at once. It is the same full app whichever way you pay:

The AI Add-on (Granular Hosted)
The AI Add-on gives you 30 AI models from 9 companies inside Granular, with no API keys and no separate AI subscription. It works on any plan, including Free, and is billed separately from Pro. It is monthly only.

Every tier unlocks the same models. Only the monthly credits differ. Monthly credits refill every 30 days, and unused ones don't carry over.
Need more in a busy month? Credit packs are one-time top-ups whose credits roll over until you use them: $10 for 800 credits or $25 for 2,000. You can buy them with or without a tier. They are sold inside the app only.

Buying
- Open Settings → Billing & plan (or click Upgrade to Pro).
- Pick what you want. Checkout opens securely in your browser.
- Pay. If you're signed in, the purchase is added to your account and switched on automatically. No code to paste.
You'll also get an unlock code by email. Keep it as a backup. If you bought on the website, sign in to Granular with the same email and the purchase appears on its own.
A credit pack is the exception: paste its emailed code into Have an unlock code? Add it here and click Add to add the credits.
Switching between Monthly and Annual
- Open Settings → Billing & plan.
- On your Pro line, click Change plan.
- Confirm the switch on the secure billing page. It shows the exact amount first.
- Monthly to Annual is charged straight away, for the difference.
- Annual to Monthly takes effect at your next renewal. You keep Annual until then.
Either way you keep one subscription, never two.
When you confirm, your browser shows a Granular page that says Plan changed: "Your billing change is saved. Switch back to Granular: your plan updates there by itself in a moment." You can close that tab.
Switching AI Add-on tiers
- Open Settings → Billing & plan.
- In the AI Add-on section, your current tier is marked Your tier.
- Click Switch on the tier you want (or Change plan on your AI Add-on line).
- Confirm on the secure billing page.
Moving up is charged straight away for the rest of the month, and the extra credits are ready at once. Moving down starts at your next renewal.
Moving to Lifetime
If you're on Pro Monthly or Annual and want to pay once instead:
- Open Settings → Billing & plan.
- On your Pro line, click Switch to Lifetime.
- In the window that opens, click $259 on the Lifetime row.
- Read the notice and click Buy Lifetime. Changed your mind? Click Keep my plan.
- Pay in your browser.
Your Monthly or Annual plan stops as soon as the Lifetime payment goes through, so you won't be charged for it again. Unused time on it isn't refunded. Your AI Add-on is not affected.
Bought Lifetime on the website instead? That doesn't cancel your subscription, because it might be a gift. You'll get an email explaining your choice: cancel your subscription if the Lifetime is for you, or give the code away. See Billing FAQ for the steps.
There is no Lifetime option for the AI Add-on, because AI model costs recur every month.
Managing payment details, invoices and cancelling
Click Manage on any subscription in Settings → Billing & plan. It opens a secure billing page where you can update your card, download invoices or cancel. When you're done, your browser shows a Granular page that says All set.
When you cancel a subscription, it keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. The Pro plan and the AI Add-on are cancelled separately. After the AI Add-on ends, any credits you have left still work until you use them up.
If a purchase was paid for with a different email, Billing shows who paid (for example "paid with o•••@gmail.com"). Only the person who paid can manage or change that purchase.
Refunds
Every Pro plan (monthly, yearly and Lifetime) has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy, email hello@granular.build within 30 days of buying for a full refund. The AI Add-on and credit packs are not covered.
