Start a session

A session is one workspace where you and an agent work together. Open Granular and create a new session (or pick a project). You will see a chat on one side and a terminal on the other — both wired to the same workspace.

Ask for what you want

Type your goal the way you would tell a capable teammate. For example:

Make me a one-page site for my coffee brand, dark theme, with a sign-up form.

The agent plans the work, then starts doing it — creating files, running commands, and reporting each step in plain English. You can watch the terminal execute live.

See the result

When the agent makes something viewable, Granular opens a preview so you can look at it immediately — no copy-pasting URLs. Don't like something? Just say so: "make the headline bigger and the buttons orange," and the agent revises it.

Keep going

Everything the agent creates is saved as real files on your Mac, which you fully own. Come back any time and the session remembers where you left off. Next, learn the Granular interface or how to run several agents at once.

What should my first prompt be?
Describe a small, concrete outcome — "make a landing page for X" or "organise these notes into a plan." Specific goals get the best results.
Can I undo what an agent did?
Yes. Files are real and tracked, and risky actions ask before running. You can revise, redo, or discard work at any point.
Where are my files saved?
Locally on your Mac, in the session's project folder — you own them and can open them in any other app.
